Travis CAD Receives Distinguished Budget Presentation Award

The Travis Central Appraisal District is proud to announce that we have received the Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for our budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2025. This award reflects our commitment to meeting the highest principles of government budgeting.

To receive the award, a government entity must satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. These guidelines assess how well a budget serves as a policy document, financial plan, operations guide, and communications device. Budget documents must be rated proficient in all categories.
