LEANA MANN NAMED LONE FINALIST FOR TRAVIS CAD CHIEF APPRAISER

AUSTIN, Texas – The Travis Central Appraisal District Board of Directors today named Leana Mann the lone finalist to be the District’s next Chief Appraiser.

Mann currently serves as the District’s Deputy Chief Appraiser. Having worked with the District since 2011, Mann has previously served as a staff accountant, Finance and Facilities Director, and Deputy Chief of Operations. She is a graduate of Texas State University and is a Certified Government Finance Officer (CGFO).

As Chief Appraiser, Mann will be responsible for managing more than 150 employees working toward appraising all property in Travis County at 100 percent of market value. Mann will succeed Chief Appraiser Marya Crigler, who will be retiring in early 2024 after more than thirty-three years with the District.

The Board is expected to approve an employment contract for Mann at their next board meeting.
