Agricultural Application Deadline

Property owners seeking a special valuation for an agricultural use, including Wildlife Management, or reporting any changes to their current use are required to submit a completed Application for 1-d-1 (Open Space) Agricultural Use Appraisal (Form 50-129). Wildlife management applications must include a TPWD – Wildlife Management Plan (Form PWD 885) for the current tax year before May 1.

It is preferred the application(s) and supporting documentation is submitted as one document in pdf format to [email protected].  Hard copy submissions should be an 8 ½ x 11 scannable document with no loose receipts, photos, etc.  Flash drives or CDs will not be accepted.  TCAD cannot confirm receipt of applications; if you require confirmation, we suggest submitting by a delivery confirmation service of your choice or hand deliver to:
